About Us

The Roundtable of Business Leaders (RBL) is a premier business organization committed to the betterment of our region.

"Our mission is to advance and strengthen our members and their business relationships and to offer our collective resources to improve our community."

We accomplish this mission in several ways:

1. We have Hot Topic Meetings scheduled through-out the year. Meeting locations and times are posted on our home page and communicated via email. We attract excellent speakers from the business community and political arena to inform our members of the most important issues affecting Hampton Roads. Members will receive a discounted price for meeting events.
2. We have created a mentoring/scholarship program designed to give local rising college juniors who complete the program an opportunity to understand local business from the inside. Upon successful completion of the program scholarships are awarded that will help cover the cost of their education. 3. We plan to travel as a group to places of interest. These trips create a great deal of camaraderie while learning how business gets done. Former trips include our General Assembly in Richmond, the Dollar Tree distribution center, the White House, Congress and Supreme Court on our trip to D.C., as well as a trip to Moonrise Bay Winery on Knotts Island and the Virginia Zoo in Norfolk.
4. We close the year with the celebration of our annual gala: This festive event takes place the first Friday in December. This year the event will be help on December 2, 2011 at the Virginia Aquarium.
